I have been digging through my photos and finding quite a few projects I never shared. So since I haven’t been able to create as much lately with my sweet little newborn who constantly wants to be held (I’m not complaining), I’ll be sharing some oldies but goodies.
First up is this necklace that I made for my sister for Christmas. I used jewelry posts (not sure what they’re actually called) to attach these fun chunky beads to a chain. I love all the sparkle in the beads! (Even more sparkly in person.) Then I attached the chain to velvet ribbon for this trendy look.
Bad lighting, but here’s the necklace on my sister.
The big beads came in a pack at Joann Fabric & Crafts and I added a few more beads to supplement (you need quite a few beads to make it look full enough). They have a lot of different-colored coordinating packs with really fun beads.
Happy creating!
