Guess what? I have another Artfully Sent card to share!
**Be sure to “like” my Facebook page for peeks at my cards before I blog them!**
I decided to try out this haunted house scene card to send to my niece and nephew. CTMH made a similar card that I was inspired by…I just changed the colors and added my own touch.
This is what it looks like completely closed. I put little googly eyes peeking out of the windows. My niece and nephew are gonna love that 🙂
Here it is opened just a little bit. Cool shadow 🙂 I don’t know why the moon above looks so bright yellow…below is more real-life.
And here’s what it looks like completely open. Both of the stamps COME in the Artfully Sent collection. I used Archival Black ink to stamp…it’s a richer black than the regular black ink. (But it also stains your stamps more…wash them right away!) I have always had a thing for stars and I love the new white enamel stars. They come in 2 sizes and you get tons in the package.
Here’s a close-up of the moon. I used a piece of honey cardstock and then inked a Tim Holtz inking tool with Sunset ink and gently rubbed it over the moon to give it a sunset look. Then I adhered the yellow piece to the back of the Gypsy (purple) cardstock.
I wasn’t sure how the details would cut on my Expression but I think it turned out quite well!
