Hello!
It’s been quite a while since I’ve had a scrapbook layout to share! I got a Canon SELPHY photo printer recently and I am LOVING it! It makes a world of difference for me to be able to print on demand, right from my phone since that’s how I shoot & edit most of my photos. (More layouts to come!)
I created this one last weekend using CTMH’s Hopscotch Picture My Life cards. (PML is CTMH’s version of Project Life.)
The colors are very versatile. There were some cards in the kit that would not work with these photos, but the ones I chose go perfectly. Love the sayings and Dr. Seuss quote!
Tip: cut out the shapes from the cards! I could have cut a word bubble from my Cricut, but I liked this pink one for what I wanted to do. 🙂
These fun wood veneer word bubbles are from Studio Calico. I colored this one with a Shinhan Touch alcohol marker (Turquoise Blue) and then coated it with my Wink of Stella glitter brush. It’s hard to see in the photo, but it give it a nice shimmer. I backed the word bubble with pink cardstock. I used mini glue dots to adhere it to the veneer.
This is a handmade PML/PL card. I cut some pink cardstock to 2″x3″ and rounded the corners. I finally found the perfect use for my “Glitter Girl” stamp from the Glitter Glam stamp set. I added some silver stickles and shimmer trim and this card was good to go. So easy and adds a the perfect amount of bling to the layout. (To go with Kailyn’s BLING sunglasses. LOVE!)
There are just a couple weeks left to order the items from the Seasonal Expressions 1 catalog. Be sure to snag the Hopscotch and Heartstrings collections (and a handful of other items) before they’re gone forever. (They are only while supplies last, or until March 31.) View catalog >
And remember with a $50+ order you get the Stamp of the Month for only $5!
