Last month on National Scrapbooking Day I went to my friend Stephanie’s house for an all-day crop with a few other ladies. She lives about 2 hours from me so I stayed the night and we kept the party going! It was so fun to get away and have so much time to create. I don’t have to tell you moms how nice it was to have all the time I wanted to work on my projects and not worry about getting interrupted or working on a project in 5-minute increments!
Even though it was National Scrapbook Day, I was in the mood to make cards. So I did. 28 in total!!!
One of the reasons I was able to create so many is I used Workshop on the Go kits. These kits from CTMH come with the instructions and supplies to make 15 cards (5 each of 3 designs). Plus there’s more left over so I got more out of my kits than 15 cards. I love the cutting diagram it comes with so I can pre-cut everything before I start. And if I decide to make extra, I can see at a glance if I’ll have enough paper to make more.
I made 8 cards using this first design. I made 5 as shown for birthdays. And I made 3 with a heart instead where it says “happy birthday.” I gave them to my mom, MIL, and sister for Mother’s Day (I forgot to take pics). The black sentiment alone was perfect: “YOU are worth celebrating.”
The striped paper above is the 1/4″ zip strip from one of the patterned papers. I wish I had a whole sheet of it!
Card #2…
The green and smoothie strips are stamps made to look like washi tape.
I cut mini glue dots into mini-er glue dots and stuck them behind the tails of the bow to stay in place.
This 3rd card is cute too, but I decided to change it up a bit to fit my style and uses better. Just another great thing about this or any kit…it provides great inspiration and blueprints, but you can easily change anything you don’t love or doesn’t work for you. This is what it was designed to look like…
And this is what I did. I had some black sentiment Cricut cuts from Artiste lying around so I used them for these cards. I always need thank-you cards. I liked it so much I made 6 like this instead of 5.
I changed the embellishing a little bit too.
I just love these kits! They are a great value at $24.95. The stamp set alone is a $13.95 value and is exclusive to the kit. You’ll get all of the card bases & envelopes, paper, and embellishments you need. Only thing you need to add are the stamp pads and acrylic blocks!
Here’s the Blossom Workshop on the Go kit. It’s retiring at the end of August.

I made some additional cards with the leftovers from this kit that I’ll share as well. Plus I STILL have more of the kit left over!
Happy crafting!
