Trolls/Poppy Watercolor Birthday Card + Process Video

Hello!

Today I’m sharing the card I made for my daughter’s 4th birthday. My daughter is having a Trolls party next weekend so I bought some images on Etsy and had fun playing with lots of techniques – watercoloring, stamping, heat embossing and more! I am playing along with this week’s Muse challenge #229…I was inspired by Tracey’s blue watercolor background and the black background for the sentiment.

I am still pretty new to watercoloring but have been addicted to it lately! I love playing with various effects and backgrounds for my handmade cards.

My daughter has shown a lot of interest in crafting lately and started making cards and scrapbook pages with me, so this is the first year I wanted to really take the time to make her card special. She saves her cards so I know she will want this displayed on her bookshelf!
