Baby Nursery Decor with Free Cricut File | Process Video | Adventure is Calling and I Must Go

Hello!

I am so excited to share this project with you because these baby nursery decor frames are one of my absolute favorite things to make! And this one was for a very special little boy – my kids’ daycare teacher’s son!

I have shared many nursery decor frames with you in the past (I call them “What’s in a Frame”) – you can see them all HERE. But this one is quite a departure from my typical style. This is also the first time I’ve made a video of my process to share with you.

These 8×10 decor pieces are so fun because they are so customized and are always so touching to the parents for that reason. I love giving these for baby shower gifts or even to toddlers and older children. Kids love to see their name in their room!

I created most of the pieces for this design using my Cricut machine, with the exception of those cute stitched felt stickers. Those are Jolee’s stickers that I found at Joann’s. I have linked my Cricut Design Space file below if you’d like to make something like this. I would LOVE if you’d share with me if you create one! You can post it to my Facebook page or email me!

PROCESS VIDEO

Here is my process video. You can watch it below or over on YouTube in HD. Below it are more photos, details, and the link to my Cricut file.

Here is Mrs. Holly with her frame right after I gave it to her. She has been such an awesome addition to our lives, as have all of the teachers at my kids’ daycare/preschool! She is the baby room teacher and has been nicknamed “the baby whisperer” because she’s so good with those little babes. 🙂 My kiddos are no longer in the baby room but we still see Mrs. Holly there regularly!

I love that the adventure theme is so fitting for living in Oregon as well as how much Ben and their family love adventuring. That is one of the perks of creating this type of decor once the child starts showing some personality versus making it when they are a baby. Ben was almost 2 when I made this, so Holly knew that he was quite the adventurous little guy. But Either way is fun – it’s always fun to make decor for a themed nursery! Decorating my kids’ nurseries was one of the most fun parts of preparing for a baby 🙂
