Hello!
If you’ve visited my blog before you may notice it looks a little different. In fact, it’s A LOT different. I moved my blog from Google’s Blogger to WordPress. It’s something I’ve been thinking of doing for a long time now, and I finally dove in and did it. I’ve been working on it for a while (I did it myself), and although it’s not perfect yet, it is close enough to show you what I’ve been up to! 🙂 I’ll still be working on it behind the scenes for a while.
So, I hope you’ll poke around and check out the features I’ve added. I’ve done a lot of customization to my theme, and although it was not a quick process, I have learned a lot along the way. I am very happy with the end result of a more simplified appearance while still including all of the necessary features (plus more!), a better user experience (trying to keep things easier for you to find and navigate!), and more options for me to display my posts and customize further.
FEATURED PROJECT
Without further adieu, here is my project. This is my Design Team week over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge so I used Sketch #310. (Check out their sketches each week – they’re great!)
One of my co-workers just had a baby girl so I made this card for her. This is a little sneaky peek at some of the NEW products in the Seasonal Expressions 2, which releases on May 1. This paper pack is so cute with softer colors and cute animals – it’s perfect for babies, Easter, and many other occasions as well. I’ve used the paper (including hearts and the hedgehog cut from the cut-apart page), a couple stickers from the Complements, and a new stamp set.
Here’s a close-up of some of the detail. I added shine with silver embellishing thread, silver glitter gems, and shimmer brush on top of each heart.
