In today’s project, I am creating one of the June Craft With Heart scrapbook layouts, but with a twist! I love using the supplies that come in these pre-designed, pre-cut monthly kits and putting my own spin on them, and that is exactly what I did here. (Learn more about this awesome scrapbook subscription HERE.)
This video is part of a Collab from a Facebook Group I’m in called Craft Collabs. In this collab, each participant was assigned a person to C.A.S.E. and I was assigned the talented Jeanie Ellis. As you may know, I’ve played with mixed media a bit lately and I was very inspired by all of Jeanie’s mixed media projects! In particular, I chose a beautiful butterfly decor piece as my inspiration.
You can find Jeanie’s mixed media butterfly decor video HERE. Please consider subscribing to her channel!

Here is a look at the full layout and some close-ups below.
Here is the layout as it was originally designed for this subscription kit. As you can see, it’s stunning! But there are so many options for using this kit and I like to show you some alternatives that might better fit your photos.

Just a gorgeous project and love your creative modifications. It’s so great to pick up small tips that can add so much to a layout or card…..using that gold shimmer brush on the bodies of your butterflies. The splatter of sapphire ink on your layout is perfect…such a great addition. Thanks for sharing your ‘process’.
